4 tricks to make your room look bigger

The room is one of the places in the house that we spent more time, perhaps the most, however much time of this we spent sleeping. However, we all like to see a cheerful, fun and spacious room both when we go to bed and when we get up.

Entering a room with symptoms of overwhelm can generate claustrophobia and prevents a good rest while you sleep. Being calm is one of the keys to a good rest and getting up in a good mood.

The current problem is that many times it falls into the monotony of leaving what is done even though we do not like it because it costs a lot of work or money to change it.

Today we bring you 5 tricks to be able to redecorate the room in a very simple way and with hardly any work, and seem to be bigger.

  • Use soft colors

Use soft and subdued colors for both walls and bedding. The soft colors give a perception of clarity and tranquility also favor lighting as they are able to reflect the natural light of day and the artificial lamps.

As for bedding, using soft colors or pastels look very delicate and show signs of softness and elegance and combined with the tones of the walls will offer much more light and clarity to the room.

  • Use translucent blinds

It is very important that the room is equipped with windows to favor the entry of natural light that brightens the room. A good choice is to use translucent blinds that are able to pass the vast majority of light without becoming transparent. They are ideal because they offer both privacy and a good amount of natural light.

  • The fewer things on the floor, the better.

One of the things that makes the room fill more is to have things touching the ground. Currently it is a trend that is being corrected by furniture designers but that we often have trouble seeing. Having a piece of furniture attached to the floor is no longer necessary and this will offer a vision of cleanliness and vacuum of furniture even though it is only 20 cm from the floor.

The chairs, very common in the rooms to leave clothes must give way to coat racks (they are again fashionable).

  • Use mirrors

The mirrors are not only to be seen when we get up from sleep or when we get ready, but they are a strong generator of space. The optical effect produced by the reflection of the mirror is able to double the room as long as it is oriented to a spacious and beautiful place.
